Customer Testimonials : Akhilesh Singh Bali Trip Experience

“OUR SOJOURN TO MYSTIQUE BALI”

We had a memorable trip to Bali, Indonesia in the second week of July 2023. The weather around this part of the year at Bali is absolutely enjoyable. Duly supported by D2C travels, the arrangements were a great success right from the word GO. Everything from the warm stay at the Hotels and the travel plans were seamlessly coordinated. The associates at Bali were very friendly and amicable and did not let any stone unturned in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable trip to Bali.

Our trip began at a good note immediately after landing at Denpasar Airport and we got a feel of this clean and beautiful place. Visit in the evening to Tanah Lot temple was absolutely majestic as the day endedwith breath taking sight of the sunset from a sea side vantage point.

We had a brush with some adventurous water sports at Benoa Beach which was overall a titillating experience. The day was followedwith a visit to the grand Ulubatu Temple located on a massive seaside cliff. Wrapping of Sharong around our waists before entry in the temple premises reminded of the Indian culture and traditions. In the evening the performance of Kecak dance within the temple premises was a unique feeling and out of the world experience. The artists dressed up in their traditional attire as various character sof Ramayana looked absolutely stunning and we had the singular opportunities for some selfies with them after the performance. We suggest that this is a must watch for any tourist visiting Bali.

This was followed by sea bound travel to Nusa Penida Island which offered a peek into some of the most beautiful scenic spots that we have ever been to in our lives. In the days, that followed we had a wonderful and eye catching view of Kintamani volcano, one must carry some warm clothing to enjoy the salubrious weather at the view point. Our local guides also took us to the famous Bali Swings over the terraced rice fields which was great fun and ideal for photo operations. Visit to coffee plantations and tasting of multitude of drinks really was an eye opener. We were really intrigued with the preparation of Luwak coffee, believed to be one of the finest in the world. It was told to us that it could only be derived through the droppings of the animal Luwak,a member of the Cat family.

Our vacation would have been incomplete without the  visit to the local market at Ubud Village which can be outrightly described as a goldmine of local art and craft. Believe it or not, we found the Balinese Art to be par excellence. The woodwork of the local artisans will simply blow you over your feet.

The hotels offered to us in our packages were very comfortable and exclusive. We must make a mention of private pool villa at Ubud and the floating breakfast which was a unique experience altogether.

Understandably, the words will not be able to do justice to our memorable trip. This was largely possible due to the great coordination and planning by our friends from D2C and their associates at Bali. Throughout our trip, our movement and stay were ostensibly and efficiently being coordinated by Ms Ishani from D2C and we are indeed grateful to her. Last, but not the least we salute the hospitality and warmth of the Balinese people who afforded us these moments to cherish for ever.

Wishing you a Happy Bali Trip !!!
